Quiet Reflections in Moments of Leisure
It feels like I’ve been incredibly busy for a really long time, and I haven’t sat down to have a proper think in ages. It wasn’t until I saw a message left by my mentor today that I realized I really need to do some deep reflection. Sometimes we focus so much on whether we can take off that we completely lose track of which direction we should actually be flying.
Day in and day out, I’m just running after projects, jumping around without really finding what area I truly fit into—switching back and forth between frontend and backend. While there was that brief moment of joy when a project wrapped up a few days ago, I suddenly realized how far away I’ve drifted from real, deep technology. If you are not moving forward, you are moving backward. I don’t feel like I’m making progress, which means I must be regressing. My current routine has completely ground down the passion and love I once had for technology, making me feel so much older than I am. This isn’t what I wanted. It looks like I need to figure out a way to break out of this terrible rut~
